I always use a fresh needle when I start free motion quilting.

2. I piece batting all the time! You places the edges next to each other not on top of one another and then sew it with a large zig zag stitch.Candacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03050953687712439019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4813187616477784259.post-81731068500642696222011-01-12T16:59:50.514-08:002011-01-12T16:59:50.514-08:00So excited to get started...! How often do you change your needles (in general), and do you have to change it more often when paper piecing?

2. I have a package of polyester batting, but it's a craft size roll -- do you think it matters if I end up piecing it? Or should I get one full piece?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4813187616477784259.post-69884516744874876022011-01-11T14:48:45.946-08:002011-01-11T14:48:45.946-08:00The square size is completely up to you! Quick Question, what size will each square be? Other than batting, I think I have everything and am ready to get started!ginger frecklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04248777818407258119noreply@blogger.com
